Dr. Szilágyi graduated at the Faculty of Dentistry at Semmelweis University of Medicine in Budapest. She passed the medical qualifying examination in the field “dental and oral diseases” in 1996, and the exam in periodontics in 2022.
After graduating from university, she followed an internship in periodontology, oral surgery and endodontics in the USA.
Between 1997-2011, she worked as an assistant professor at the Periodontology Clinic of Semmelweis University, where she was actively involved in the research of periodontal regeneration, immediate implantation of patients with periodontal diseases, while assisting in teaching and writing the textbook on Periodontology.
She specializes in Periodontology and Implantology. Her areas of expertise are periodontal fine and microsurgery. Her work has been crucial in the development of the preventive approach taken by the clinic. She has been using the most reliable implants of Nobel Biocare (a globally renowned Swedish manufacturer) for her surgical implantations since 1999.
